c)     Determining the objectives

In this step the teacher has to intelligently expect the level to which the various objectives can be achieved through units. Almost all objectives are developed at the same time in the teaching -learning process, but with different weightages. Therefore the teacher has to indicate the weightage to a particular objective as a part of content analysis.

d)    Scheduling of the time available for instruction

This step is to estimate the total number of periods that could be made available for the subject while doing this the teacher should consider the missing periods due to various co-curricular activities & unexpected loss of days or those activities also should be integrated with the scheduling of time for a unit & details about this planning should also be given in the year plan.

For making the learning more objective based & effective, a variety of teaching or instructional aids may become necessary, for which decide carefully what type of teaching aid to be selected, decided for teaching different units.

i)      Evaluation

Here the type of evaluation tools and techniques proposed to be used for assessing realisation of the predetermined goals are to be given. These should cater to the formative and summative evaluation.
